Backyard Escapes is a family owned and operated business. The owner Gary has over 25 years experience in the swimming pool industry. Starting his career Gary worked at his dads pool company as a swimming pool maintenance technician. This later led to Gary starting his own business selling jacuzzis & saunas.

A move overseas which then led to Gary operating a fibreglass pool installation franchise and being responsible for everything from sales to installing and handover.
A further move interstate to WA and Gary has seen himself in various roles again in the swimming pool industry working as a pool chemical company sales rep, quality and assurance officer at a fibreglass manufacturing company and then onto starting up his own business again renovating swimming pools and new pool construction.
